Important:
Final judging criteria, rules, or interpretations may be adjusted up until the start of the event and will be communicated via Discuss. All such updates are final and binding.
13. Scoring Process
The judging will take place in one of two formats, depending on the number of participants:
- If all participants are able to deliver live, in-person presentations (pitches) on April 11th, judging will take place at that time, and the winners will be announced at the hackathon itself.
- If there are too many participants for all presentations to take place in the alloted time, a selection of participants will present live, in-person, with the remainder recording their presentation after the hackathon and submitting the recordings to the judging panel. In this case the judging will take place after the hackathon and the winners will therefore be announced at a future date.
Each team will have 3 minutes to present. The judges' decisions are final, unappealable, and binding.
In the event of a tie in the final score between two or more Fragmentnos, the winner will be determined according to the following order of priority:
- Fragments that fall within the priority categories listed in item
- Highest score in the Technical Implementation and Quality criterion.
If the tie persists after applying the above criteria, the Judging Panel, composed of Liferay experts, will hold a new, sovereign vote to determine the final ranking. This decision will be final and no appeal or challenge will be accepted.
14. Awards
Details, prize amounts, and categories will be announced and updated on the event's official page. The organisers reserve the right to modify the prize structure before the event.
